SHELBY- Mrs. Shirley Mae Buckley Corriveau Walker, 57, of 115 Davis Rd., died Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Schuyler County, NY, she was a daughter of Elmer Buckley and Betty Stuggart Buckley of Watkins Glen, NY. She was an Equipments Coordinator at Western Piedmont Community College and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She will truly be missed by her bus kids.
SURVIVORS: In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Ronald “Ronn” Walker of the home; three sons, Ted Corriveau and wife, Rebecca, of Grover, Tim Corriveau and wife, Jennifer, of Morganton, and Jon Corriveau and wife, Leanne, of Jacksonville, NC; a daughter, Tammy Carter and husband, Ken, of Grover; three sisters; three brothers; nine grandchildren; a step son Lee Walker of Shelby; and her former husband, Albert Corriveau of Marion.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Faith Baptist Church, and at other times at the home of her son and his wife, Ted and Rebecca Corriveau, 816 Lavender Rd., Grover.
FUNERAL SERVICE: The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Faith Baptist Church.
INTERMENT: Burial will follow in Faith Baptist Church Cemetery.
OFFICIATING CLERGY: Dr. J. Barry Goodman and the Rev. Johnny Owens will officiate.
