Sue Berry

SHELBY: Sue Potts Berry, 86, died Monday, December 5, 2022 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center. Born in Davidson County, she was the daughter of the late Paul Hamrick Potts and Lois Frances Barrow Potts. Sue was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church and a former employee of Winn Dixie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Perrin “Ward” Berry; brother, Joe Turner Potts; and son, Lawrence Berry. She is survived by her daughters, Marlene M. Berry of Asheville and Mary Susan Berry of Shelby; nephews, Gregory Potts of TN and Jeffrey Potts of OK; and niece, Carol Jo Widner of AL. Services will be private to the family.
