SYBIL ROSEBORO
SHELBY-Sybil Roseboro, 78, died Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, at her residence. A native of Lincoln County, she was born to the late Raymond Earl and Mozelle Farmer Davis. She was a homemaker and sometimes a circular knitter. She loved the outdoors and all of her family very much.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Charles and Larry Joe Davis; twin sister, Sylvia D. Townsend; daughter, Tracey Watts.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Bobby Roseboro, of the home; daughters, Missy Tallent of Lincolnton, Annette Whaley of Belwood, and Crystal Goodson of Ohio; sisters, Earlene McIntyre of Polkville, and Penni Davis of Lawndale; brothers, Randy and Tony Davis of Lawndale; five grandchildren, Josh Watts, Jessica Baxter, Kiley Shoup, Alyshia and Brandi Goodson; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The quiet hour will be one hour prior to the service.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, at Ellis Chapel Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Ray Lockhart, Jr. and Pastor Jamal Edwards
Burial will be immediately following the service at the Ellis Baptist Church Cemetery.
