SHELBY – Sylvia Bridges Lovelace, 70, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016, at Testa Family Hospice in Kings Mountain. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Inez Roberts Bridges.
She was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church for 45 years and for many years, worked at Wal-Mart in the produce department.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Bridges and Carl Ray Bridges; one sister, Faye Bridges; and one grandson, Jessie Watson.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Larry Lovelace of the home; one step-daughter, Lisa Lovelace Wingo; three sisters, Carol Ann Chapman, Diane Bridges both of Shelby and Kaye Santana of Burlington; two brothers, Max Bridges and wife Jeanette and Wayne Bridges all of Shelby; four grandchildren, Justin, Luke, Olivia and Lilly; and last but not least, her beloved pets, Pierre and Cutie Pie.
At her request, there will be no services.
