SHELBY- Mr. Terrell Lenson Bunn, 55, of 3815 Five Points Road, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Birmingham, AL, he was born November 26, 1956, son of Patricia Hoodenpyle Bunn and the late Jerrell Bunn. He was in the 186th Air Refueling Squadron in Meridian, MS and flew many missions overseas; he retired from the US Air Force as a Captain. He was a graduate from UAB where he received his Bachelors degree in Marketing. He was a huge fan of the University of Alabama. He was also a pilot for US Air.
PRECEDED: In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by one sister, Patrice Ashe.
SURVIVED: In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Priscilla Surrette Bunn of the home; one son, Steven Bunn of Greenville, SC; two daughters, Keri Wright and Husband Andy of Meridian, MS and Leslie Finley and husband Jonathan of Greenville, SC; two grandchildren, Jack and Olivia Wright.
SERVICES: A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm Monday in the chapel at Black Mountain State Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends 2-4:00 pm Sunday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby.
CLERGY: Rev. Alice MacKeil.
BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow the service at Black Mountain State Cemetery with Military Honors.
