Terry Allen

SHELBY-Mr. Terry Roger Allen, 57, of Crestfield Court, died Wed., Sept. 11, 2013 at Crawley Memorial Hospital. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Bill and Charleen Greene Allen. He served in the Army, was a former floor manager at Lowe’s, and worked part-time at Shelby City Park. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and golf. He was a member of Friendship Masonic Lodge 388.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Evan Allen; and sister, Renee Edwards.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his fiancée, Paulette Shull of Shelby; son, Aaron Allen and wife Katie of Germany; two sisters, Pam Greene and husband Don, and Sherry Hawkins; two brothers, Ronny Allen and wife Gail, and Danny Allen and wife Caswell, all of Shelby; one grandson, Evan Allen of Germany; and many nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Saturday, 11AM, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, with military honor’s

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Friday, 6-7:30PM, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, and other times at the home of his sister, Pam Greene, 1802 Country Garden Dr., Shelby.
