GROVER-Terry Miller Jackson Sr., 74, died Sun., Oct. 19, 2014, at Caromont Health in Gastonia. A native of Buncombe Co., he was the son of the late Zoro and Lottie Souther Jackson. He graduated from Biltmore High School in Asheville. He served in the National Guard and retired from Dicey Mill in Shelby. He was a faithful member of Christ the King Church.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Miller Jackson, of the home; son, Terry M. Jackson Jr., and wife Sherry of Grover; daughters, Sharon Jackson of Shelby and Pamela Ann Jackson of the home; sister, Jaye Jackson Lytle of N. Myrtle Beach; brother-in-law, Tommy Miller and wife Loretta of Fairview; grandchildren, Crystal Oughton Skidmore and husband Tim, Stephen Craig Oughton, Stephanie Paige Oughton and husband Michael, Dena Rogers and husband Jeffrey, Leann Strange, Adam Ralph Jackson, Todd Jackson and wife Tiffany, and Tonya Wallace and husband Fred; 15 great-grandchildren; nephew, George Lytle; nieces, Kimberly J. Morelock, Carol Holcombe and Lynn Bolser.
SERVICES: Wednesday, 7p.m., at Christ the King Church
VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the church.
BURIAL: Thursday, 1p.m., at Hooper’s Creek Baptist Church in Fletcher
