SHELBY- Terry “Jake” (Lassie) Lail, 60, died Thursday, June 30, 2016, at his residence. A native of Cleveland county, he was the son of Gorman Ray Lail and the late Mary Evelyn Evans Lail.
In addition to his father, he is survived by two brothers, Hal Lail of Shelby, Tim Lail and wife Valerie of Ellenboro, one granddaughter, Laurn Williams Patton; three nieces, Brandy, Linzy, and Katrina; life long friend, Mot Davis.
The family will receive friends Tuesday night 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, officiated by Dr. John Ware.
Interment will be at Cleveland Memorial Park.
