Thomas Jenkins

STATE ROAD: Thomas “Tommy” Jenkins, 81, died Wednesday January 10, 2024 at The Woltz Hospice House in Dobson. He was the son of the late Hazel and Ennis Jenkins. Tommy was a truck driver most of his life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Brenda Mae Wood Jenkins; son, Thomas Randall Jenkins; daughter, Cheryl Jenkins; brother, Gary Jenkins; and sister, Lois Martin. Tommy's grandson Steven Smith followed him in death on January 14 2024. He is survived by his daughters, Jeanette Smith and husband Mitchell of Galax, VA, Maranda Niemiec and husband John of State Road, Vickie Senter and husband Michael of Mt. Airy, Regina Patel and husband DC of Dobson, Serena Davis and husband Chris of Dobson, and Rachel Darnell and husband Brian of Mt. Airy; and his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
