SHELBY- Mr. Thomas “Tom” Kincaid, 75, of 133 Shadowgate Dr., died Monday, November 12, 2007 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Fayette County, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Virgil Elmer and Viola Bonnie De Lung Kincaid. He served in the Air Force and the Coast Guard and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Mr. Kincaid retired from the Federal Government at Cherry Point and later retired from the Shelby City Schools as an electronics teacher. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Kincaid, and two sisters, Midge Hill and Dutch Holland.
SURVIVORS: He is survived by his loving wife, Sybil Tipton Kincaid, of the home; a son, Mark Williams and wife, Emily of Ellenboro; two daughters, Dawn Amen and husband, Rick of Colorado and Melissa Williams of Shelby; two sisters, Aleriene Burr of Shelby and Barbara Jean Oxley of Oak Hill, WV; five grandchildren, Jesse Cox, Cheyenne Amen, Lane Cassidy Tesseneer, Allison White and Saige Cook; and many nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends Thursday, November 15, 2007 from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
FUNERAL: The funeral will be Friday, November 16, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Burial will be at Christian Freedom Baptist Church Cemetery in Kings Mountain.
