GAFFNEY: Timothy “Tim” Douglas Anthony, 58, died Friday, October 11, 2024 at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he is the son of Pat Callahan Anthony of Boiling Springs and the late Charlie Anthony Jr. Tim was an avid sports fan, especially of the Dallas Cowboys. He was of the baptist faith and loved his Lord and Savior. His greatest joy in life was being a pawpaw. He enjoyed spending time with his family and singing karaoke. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Dustin Anthony and his wife Allie of Belton, SC; brother, Johnny Anthony of Ellenboro; granddaughters, Ivy and Laura Kate Anthony of Belton, SC; numerous cousins and friends; and his special friend, Bobby Marshburn of Gaffney. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, with the Rev. Brian Harris officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.
