Travis Houser

SHELBY, NC: Travis Alan Houser, 40, died Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at his home. Born in Huntington, IN he was the son of Theresa Stephens Dossen and husband Joel of Huntington, IN and the late Gregory Houser. Travis was originally from Indiana, living the past five years in Shelby. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing on Moss Lake. He worked in construction and enjoyed spending time with his family. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Jase Houser; daughters, Lillian and Cherilyn Houser; sister, Amber Brown and husband Larry; brothers, Todd Houser and wife Tammy and Jeremy Houser and wife Brandy, all of IN; his grandmother, Floy Hodson of IN; and special friends, Jeff “Pops” Jones and wife Debbie “MaMa” Jones and Mamaw Joyce.
