Tyler Griffin

SHELBY: Tyler Matthew Griffin, 31, died Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Atrium Health Cleveland. Born in Jefferson County, KY, he is the son of Alton and Lisa Price Griffin of Shelby. Tyler battled childhood cancer for most of his life, never losing his motivation to live. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed gaming. He loved his family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Jessica Haskin of Shelby; sister, Izzy Brooks and wife Mia of Shelby; brother, Mark Griffin and fiancée Akea of Kings Mountain; and grandmother, Judy Gaston of Shelby. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM, Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in New Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery.
