Veronica Battle

Veronica Battle gained her wings on Sunday May 1, 2022, at her family home in Shelby NC. She was born on November 24, 1974, to late Ellis Gene Battle Sr. and Edna Mae Battle.

Veronica leaves to cherish fond memories to her mother, Edna Battle; her daughters Christina Battle (Abiyd) and Callisha Flack (Roshad); her son, James Battle; her siblings Shawana Battle, Ellis Battle Jr. and Allen Smith; six grandchildren Iymani, Naomi, Nahla, Cordae, Amari and Zoe; nephews, Ellis Battle III, Kamren Gash.

To know Veronica was to love her. She had a vibrant personality that could brighten the day of anyone that met her. She lived her life with so much compassion through her work of caring for others as a certified nursing assistant.

Veronica believed in living her life to the fullest and shares many loving memories with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Her bold spirit lives on through her children, family, friends and community.
