SHELBY-Virginia Pearl Craig, 93, of 1101 N. Morgan Street, passed away Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at Peak Resources. A native of Rutherford county, she was born Aug. 30, 1922, daughter of the late Asia Evans and Bertha Buckner Tate.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two husbands Frank McDaniel, Sr. and Lloyd Craig; and one daughter, Alice Dobbins.
She is survived by three sons, Frank McDaniel, Johnny McDaniel and Donald Craig; three daughters, Doris Mellon, Peggy Ledford and Ponniesaes Gear; a large number of grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Family will receive friends after the graveside service.
Burial: 11 a.m., Tuesday, at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery
