Virginia F. Wallace

SHELBY- Mrs. Virginia Frances Shytle Wallace, 88, died Monday, November 08, 2010 at Peak Resources. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Richard Calvin and Stella Spencer Shytle. Virginia was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and a GA leader for many years. She also belonged to WMU and sang in the choir.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Loran “L.D.” Wallace; son, Dan Wallace; brother Richard Shytle and sister Margaret Hazel Cook.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her daughter Kay Hinson and husband Ken of Shelby; Bill Shytle and wife Jessie of Rockhill; two grandchildren, Amber Blackwell and husband Steven of Newport and Vince Wallace of Huntersville; many nieces and nephews; and brother in law, Roy Cooke of Shelby.

SERVICES: 2pm, Thursday, Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.

VISITATION: One hour before the service and other times at the home.

BURIAL: Cleveland Memorial Park
