Wayne Childers

January 28, 1950 — October 21, 2012

KINGS MOUNTAIN – Mr. Wayne Childers, 62, died Sunday, Oct 21, 2012 at Kings Mountain Hospital. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Charles Jesse and Mary Louise Scruggs Childers. He worked as a real estate appraiser.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Pryor Franklin Childers.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Brenda Ramey Childers, of the home; two daughters, Leslie Dawn Childers Robinson and husband Mike, Tammy Michelle Childers; sister, Lilly Mae Ruff and husband Jerry, all of Kings Mountain; two brothers, Charles Childers and wife Linda of Pinehurst, Harry Childers and wife Gail of Cartersville, GA; one grandson, Stephen Andrew Robinson of Kings Mountain.

SERVICES: Funeral Services will be Wednesday, 2pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Tuesday, 6-8pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain, and other times at his home.

BURIAL: Mountain Rest Cemetery
