Wesley Trevathan

Wesley Underwood Trevathan, 90 years old, passed away just before 1:00pm on Sunday, March 25th 2012 at White Oak Manor, the Assisted Living Home where he resided in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. He had pneumonia for several weeks before his passing. A close friend, Ava Franklin & her 2 daughters, Briannah & Summer of Grover, North Carolina were with him when he passed away peacefully at the end of a prayer.
He was the son of the late William F Trevathan & Ruby Lee Ellis Trevathan of Gleason, Tennessee where he was born.
Out of 14 children, he is survived by only one sister, Anne Johnson of Martin, Tennessee.
He leaves behind 3 children, Woody Junior Trevathan of Huntingdon, Tennessee, Robert (Bob) (Phyllis) Trevathan of Cosby, Tennessee & Marsha Trevathan (Dan) Brussee of Raleigh, North Carolina.
He leaves behind 12 grandchildren. Keith (Christy) Trevathan, William Trevathan, Chris (Jessica) Trevathan, Wendy (Chris) Mabry, Shannon (Tabitha) Trevathan, all from Huntingdon, Tennessee area. Patty Trevathan (Scott) Almany & Robert (Olivia) Trevathan both from Dandridge, Tennessee. Melissa Lawson of Mt Shasta area California, Pete Otparlik of Whiteville, Tennessee, Cheryl (Jeff) Turner of Clover, South Carolina, Donald Gene Whitworth of Gastonia, North Carolina, & John Wesley Whitworth of Shelby, North Carolina.
He leaves behind 32 great grandchildren.

SERVICES: a graveside service will be held in Huntington, Tennessee.
