William J "Billy" Panther

SHELBY: William J “Bill” Panther, 85, died Friday, November 9, 2018 at Wendover Hospice. A native of Cleveland Co., he was born to the late Fred and Vada Lankford Panther. He was a long time member of Amity Presbyterian Church, Charlotte and proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was also a Mason and enjoyed playing golf and traveling with his wife.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Pat Sisk Panther; daughter, Gwen Panther; brother, Horace Panther and sisters, Virginia Ware and Dot Fitch.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his son, Danny Panther of Hendersonville; sister-in-law, Judy Panther and numerous nieces and nephews.


GRAVESIDE SERVICES: will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Amity Presbyterian Church Cemetery Charlotte, NC
