William "Bugger" Wilson

GROVER- William “Bugger” Wilson, 58, died Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at his residence. A native of Cleveland Co., he was born to the late Sam and Eltennia Smith Wilson. He was a great man, father and brother who was a hard worker. He loved to fish and drove a truck for over 40 years.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby and Charles Wilson and grandson Caleb Walker

SURVIVED: He is survived by his son, William Wilson, Jr. of Grover; daughters Amanda Lail and husband Michael of Shelby, April Wilson of Grover and Kimberly Mitchem and husband Brock of Lincolnton; sisters Linda Cooke and husband Scott and Sherry Owens and husband Ricky, both of Kings Mountain and Kathy Bridges and husband David of Grover; brother Sam Wilson Jr. and wife Carolyn of Shelby; and eight grandchildren.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 Friday, September 28, 2018 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain

FUNERAL SERVICES: will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain

OFFICIATING: Pastor Darrell Alexander

INTERNMENT: The family will have a private burial at Mountain Rest cemetery
