William "Bill" Crowe

September 29, 1930 — October 27, 2006

SHELBY- Mr. William “Bill” Crowe, 76, of 1404 Beverly Ave, Shelby, died Friday, October 27, 2006 at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Lawson C. and Bertha Swofford Crowe. He was retired as a truck driver and served in the Army.

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter Crowe and Lawrence “Sam” Crowe; and three sisters, Mildred Greene, Martha Coffy and Nancy Crowe.

SURVIVORS: He is survived by his wife, Ursula Will Crowe of the home; a daughter, Angela Putman and husband, Phillip, of Ellenboro; two sons, Stefan Crowe and wife, Kim, of Shelby and Brian Crowe of Ellenboro; three step-sons, Ronnie Wright and wife, Sue, of Oregon, Donald Wright and wife, Dawn, of Shelby, and Richard Wright of Massachusetts; eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and three sisters, Doris Watts, Raye Cable and Reba Owens.

VISITATION: The family headquarters will be at the home.

FUNERAL: 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2006 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

BURIAL: Cleveland Memorial Park
