William "Floyd" Robinson

June 25, 1941 — November 25, 2009

Lawndale- Mr. William “Floyd” Robinson, 68, of 718 East Double Shoals Road, died Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at home. A native of Cleveland County he was the son of the Late William Franklin Robinson and Irene Allen Robinson of Blacksburg. After 28 years, Mr. Robinson retired from the Celanese Corporation. He was of the Baptist faith and served in the US Army.

PRECEDED: In addtition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother.

SURVIVORS: In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 40 yrs, Louise Morrow Robinson, of the home; sister Diane Patrick and Lonnie of Blacksburg; 9 brothers in law; 7 sisters in law; and special friends Francis and Bobby Luckado.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Saturday, November 28, 10-11am, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.

FUNERAL: Services will be held, Saturday, November 28, 11am, in the Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.

INTERMENT: Burial will immedialty follow in Cleveland Memorial park

CLERGY: Rev. Jimmy Black will be officiating
