William "Pete" Owens

GROVER- Mr. William “Pete” Franklin Owens, 72, of 204 Kentbury Drive, died Monday, August 11, 2008 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Spartanburg County, SC, he was of the Baptist faith, and also employed by the city of Kings Mountain and the Silver Dollar.
He is survived by special friends: Paul Beatty and wife Marie of Grover, Bill Thomas, and Barbara Martin, both of Shelby, Frank Nichols of Cramerton, and Bill Reel of Kings Mountain.
The family will receive friends Friday (8/15) from 6-7 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home. The memorial service will immediately follow the visitation in the Clay-Barnette Chapel at 7:00 (8/15)
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6000 Fairview Rd., Suite 200, Charlotte, NC 28210
