William Scott Dixon

March 18, 1958 — February 11, 2010

GROVER- Mr. Scott Dixon, 51, of 110 Carolina Avenue, died Thursday, February 11, 2010 at home. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Thomas Frank and Emogene Allen Dixon. He was a former truck driver with Kings Mountain Mining and he was also a member of Allen Memorial Baptist Church.


PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Tracy Rippy.


SURVIVED: He is survived by his step son, Todd McCarter of Grover; two sisters, Vickie Hamrick of Grover and Kathy Garcia and husband Michael of Kings Mountain; and three brothers Mike Dixon and wife Gloria of Kings Mountain, Daryl Dixon of Grover, and Paul Dixon and wife Sandy of Blacksburg, SC.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Sunday, February 14, 1-2pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, Shelby.

SERVICES: A memorial services will be held, Sunday, February 14, 2pm in the Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.

MEMORIALS: Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, 28150.
