Willie Mode

BOILING SPRINGS- Willis Hoyle Mode, 97, of 120 College farm Road, passed away Wednesday April, 1, 2015 at his residence. A native of Cleveland county, he was the son of the late Sam L. and Hittie Philbeck Mode. He worked in textiles most of his life and loved to garden. He was a kind, gentle, good hearted person, loved everyone and everyone loved him, he will be missed by many and especially his family. He was a member of Peach Street Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beatrice Godfrey Mode; five brothers, Everette, Roy, Hoyte, Tom, and Bynum Mode; three sisters, Luly Causby, Mary Floyd, and Marie Jones.

SURVIVED: He is survived by, Richie, Rocky, and Reanza Foster of the home; Denise, Chocky, Casey, Preston, and Spencer Nalley; Leslie, Kevin, and Kassie Humphries; Gary and Paula Mode; Roger and Dianne Phillips and multiple nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held Monday, 2:00 pm in the chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour and a half before the service at the funeral home.
