Zelma "Tinky" Scarborough

GROVER: Zelma "Tinky" Scarborough, 77, died Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Wendover Hospice. She was the daughter of the late Harley and Willie Scruggs. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Scarborough; and sisters, Nadine, Dot and Debbie. She is survived by her sons, Jeremy Scarborough and wife Jennifer of Kings Mountain and Jason Scarborough of Kings Mountain; daughters, Paige Biddix and husband Tim of Kings Mountain and Brooke Bolin and husband Chris of Kings Mountain; sisters, Pat Houser and husband Ervin of Carolina Shore, Gaynell Lail and husband Gene of Lake Wylie, and Creola Lail and husband Sherman of Shelby; grandchildren, Jennifer, Brandi, Joey, Madison, Josh, Devin, Spurgeon, Hunter, Cooper, Colt, and Ember; and great-grandson, Remington. Memorial services will be held at 3:00PM, Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Clay- Barnette. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
